Buying a Rabbit Vibrator

So what is a rabbit vibrator? A rabbit vibrator, also known as a Jack Rabbit, Jessica Rabbit, or Dual Stimulation Vibrator, is a unique vibrator that is designed for simultaneous clitoral and vaginal stimulation. Originally all rabbit vibrators had a phallic shape with rotating pearl beads in the shaft and a clitoral stimulator in the shape of a rabbit and made with jelly soft rubber. Whilst this classic design is still very popular today, several new ranges made from silicone and luxury collections have a new style and design.

What to Consider When Choosing a Rabbit Vibrator

The Size - You know your anatomy so choosing a rabbit that is the correct size is quite important. Rabbit vibes are sized in length and thickness, the key measures being the "Insertable length" and the "diameter". Expect an average rabbit to be about 6 inches insertable and 1.5 inches in diameter. A small rabbit vibrator will normally have an insertable length less than 6 inches and a slimline rabbit will have a diameter less than 1.4 inches. A large rabbit is either more than 6 inches in insertable length or a diameter of more than 1.5 inches.

The Vibrations - The range, types and strength of vibrations differs between rabbits. Starter rabbits tend to have easier to use controls and are either single speed or simple variable speed. As the ranges progress expect to see more depth of vibrations and functions and more advanced control, as well as dual motors in both the shaft and the clitoral stimulator.

The Features - Look out for important features such as curves for g-spot stimulation, or if the rabbit has rotating beads or thrusting action, or whether the rabbit is waterproof, or if the rabbit is rechargeable.

The Material - The type of material can affect the sensations as well as the ongoing care of your rabbit vibrator. Expect to find two types of material; jelly/rubber and silicone. Jelly rubber vibrators are soft and squishy but are porous so attention must be made to cleaning or using with a condom, you can use any lubricant with a jelly rubber vibrator. Silicone rabbit vibrators are non-porous and are very hygienic and easy to clean and care for, but only use water based lube as silicone lube will damage the toy.

Types of Rabbit Vibrator

There are so many shapes and sizes, made from different materials and with a range of functions and features that we have summarised the types of rabbits below.

Mini Rabbit Vibrators

A small rabbit vibrator is great as a travel companion or beginners rabbit, or just an alternative to a standard sized vibrator. Expect mini rabbits to have an easy to use controller with often powerful vibrations due to the relatively small size of the toy. They feel different to their larger counterparts and that is part of the fun.
